I started my career as a R&D Engineer at Siemens , Chennai ten days after my final B.E results in 2008. For a fresh graduate to grab this offer off a heavily competitive interview process wasn’t an easy feat , but owing to my 4 years at Sairam I had an edge over others in technical, temperamental and emotional aspects. Having been educated in a disciplined and structured institution like Sairam , I was able to apply the same rigour in my professional life as well. Moved to Singapore for my Masters Degree at NTU with a good subsidy – because I had good projects, papers and achievements in my CV – thanks again to Sairam and particularly to the ECE Dept staff for constantly encouraging , motivating and supporting me. Since then I have been working in the Space Industry – building and designing Satellites and Space Missions. My career has spawned over various core Space Engineering disciplines – hardware , software, digital systems, communication systems, artificial intelligence etc. I currently lead the Embedded Systems team at Canberra Space and I also lead various mission activities and collaborations with ISRO, NASA , Singaporean space industry and Australian Space Agency. I owe a lot of my professional success to Sairam Engineering College . Sairam was not just a college to me and personally it always felt like a second home. It was not just the labs , the facilities and infrastructure that defines the excellence of Sairam – to me it’s the Sairam team – Administration, Support staff, Faculty and the students who make the best. I thank Sairam for all that it has provided me in life. ”
