The Association of Electronics and Communication Engineers, IETE Student Forum and IEEE Students Branch in association with New Technology, Coimbatore conducted workshop on “Smart Phone servicing and Troubleshooting” on 24.09.2020 for II Year ECE students.

The Department of ECE/SEC conducted an online webinar on 03/12/2020 for the pre-final year students. The aim of the webinar was to equip them with the skill for defending the placement. The senior students also shared their experience during the interview and provided the tips how to defend the panel during the interview.

The department of ECE/SEC conducted the workshop on Sensor Network Platform and Tools on 24/10/2020 to throw lights on the network simulation and the tools used for the same. The different simulators existing and in specific the cooja simulator was discussed. Different scenarios were simulated with cooja simulator.

Industry expert webinar on “Pacemaker” & “Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator” by Mr.Chetan kwatra Territory sales Manager,Boston scientific India pvt Ltd. New Delhi for III year students on 14 .10.2020 &12.10.2020. The speaker Mr. Chetan explained about the anatomy, physiology & electrical conductivity of the heart & the importance of pacemakers. The type of pacemakers and the condition under which the pacemaker can be used were also discussed.

Webinar on topic “Hazards of E Waste and Plastic Waste” conducted on 18.9.2020 & 21.9.2020 by Mr.Prince, Certified Trainer, Clean to Green Team, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Thrivananthapuram.
